The Tanjung scented candle lies in an opaline glass hand-blown by Baobab Collection glass craftsmen. Multiple colors are sprinkled throughout the glass, recalling the tones of the mysterious landscapes of Indonesia. The Tanjung National Park is located in the southwest of the island of Borneo and house unique species and extraordinary birds, such as the Bird of Paradise found in Papua. Its woody fragrance with notes of cedar and galbanum will transport you to the freshness of the tropical forest, populated by extraordinary fauna.
The quality of Baobab Collection scented candles involves a specific burning ritual. Each time the candle is burned, it is important to wait until the entire surface liquefies before extinguishing the candle. This will prevent the formation of craters which are unattractive and make burning more difficult. The first time you light your candle, it will always burn for longer than on subsequent occasions. Allow time for the first layer of wax to liquefy completely. The length of time this takes varies depending on the size of the candle.
Never burn the last 1cm (1/2 inch) of wax to avoid flames burning against the glass.
