Hand-Stitched Leather
Supple texture. Precise stitching. A detail that feels personal.
Turnstyle Designs uses full-grain Italian bridle leather, vegetable-tanned using traditional methods. Each leather grip is applied and stitched by hand, bringing the skill of the maker into an object you use every day.
The choice of leather colour, stitching detail and accompanying metal finish allows you to create a quiet tonal pairing or a more expressive contrast.
Solid Brass
Enduring substance. Beautifully defined form.
Solid brass provides the foundation for a wide range of Turnstyle designs. Precision machining and skilled finishing create clean profiles, balanced proportions and surfaces that range from bright and polished to softly brushed or patinated.
Its versatility allows the same design to take on very different characters, depending on the chosen finish.
Hand-Hammered Brass
Individual marks. An unmistakable texture.
Each hammered surface is worked by hand, one strike at a time. Craftspeople use different hammers to shape the pattern around the contours of each piece, creating subtle variations that make every handle individual.
Available on selected designs, full or partial hammering adds depth and catches the light, while the chosen finish brings out the relief.
Amalfine™
Intricate detail. A warmth all its own.
Developed by Turnstyle Designs, Amalfine™ is a proprietary composite that captures exceptionally fine textures. Each component is cast by hand around a metal core, then carefully finished to achieve its depth of colour and distinctive surface.
The colour extends throughout the composite grip, rather than forming a surface coating. From subtle patterns to pronounced relief, Amalfine™ offers a rich range of tactile possibilities.
